How does an individual labour dispute start?

Labour & Employment Law

The Labour Act provides an individual-dispute mechanism beginning with a claim to the employer. If the matter is not resolved through the statutory employer-level process, the worker can proceed to the Labour Office under the Act.

The route differs for certain direct appeals, including termination and misconduct decisions.
