Who is legally capable of entering into a contract?

The Civil Code generally permits persons to contract except those legally incapable, including minors and persons who lack the required mental capacity at the relevant time. A person whom another law makes incapable of entering a particular type of contract also cannot validly enter that contract.[1]

For companies, the person signing should also have authority to bind the company.
